Stormsport Meetings and Activities

The best way to keep apprised of the Stormsport schedule is to subscribe to the mail list here.

Business meetings:

Stormsport business meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm.

Due to the event on the 20th our monthly Shire Meeting is this Wednesday June 17th at 7pm. It will be at Duane's/Mary' s place in McKean where the event was originally being held. We may have it fireside so bring a chair and a jacket if you feel the need. If there are any changes or corrections to this plan Duane and Mary will post them as needed.

Directions: Starting at Interchange Road and I-79 head South on I-79. Take exit 174 toward McKean. Turn left onto West Road. Take first right onto Fry Road. In .7 miles, turn left onto Van Camp Road. Turn right onto Shadduck Road. Second Driveway on right hand side.

Fight practices in 2008:

Fight practices are held Sundays during the Summer at Frontier Park located on West Eight and the Bayfront Hwy beginning at 2:00 pm.

All non-blue card persons must sign an SCA waiver.

Equestrian practice:

Every Thursday 7-9pm at VanDee Stables. Cancellations will be posted to the Stormsport list before Noon on Thursdays (earlier if possible).  Equestrian practices may sometimes be scheduled on Sundays.  Sunday practices will be announced well ahead of time on both the Stormsport and AEthelmearc lists.

Directions from all points to the stables:

Take your best route to the intersection of I-90 and US 19 (Peach Street Exit)

Get on to US 19 South and make your way in to the the right lane ASAP.

Turn right at the first light. (Oliver Road)

Stay on Oliver Road until you see the Vo-Tech School. This is a five way intersection. Turn a sharp left on to Hamot Road.

Stay on Hamot for about 1.3 Miles.

VanDee Stables is on the left hand side of the road.

Pull in and find a place to park.

Do not block the trailer access and parking areas.
